I'm Carlos, and I teach guitar to kids and teens across Melbourne. Based right here in Bayside, I love helping students go from "never touched a guitar" to actually playing songs they love.
WHY I TEACH GUITAR
I've been a musician since the age of 10 and have spent the last 20 years playing in bands, performing, writing music, and learning what it takes to become a confident musician in the real world.
I started this guitar school because I wanted to pass those practical skills on to the next generation. Too often, students learn exercises and theory without understanding how to actually play music. My goal is to help young musicians learn real songs, play with confidence, and develop skills they can use in real musical situations.
For me, there's nothing quite like seeing a young student nail their first song and realise, "I can actually do this."
MY UNIQUE APPROACH TO TEACHING
No boring scales for 40 minutes before you get to play something fun. My lessons are built around songs kids actually want to learn, with real progress they can hear week to week.
